Submitting your content to the Asset Store
Whether you're a programmer, game designer, texture artist or 3D modeler, the Unity Asset Store is a great place to share and sell your creations with the growing Unity developer community!
We gladly invite you to send us your submissions – be it a simple collection of 3D models, a fully functional game with source assets, or anything in between – we'd love to see what you've got.
Our automated Asset Store Tools package makes the submission process fast and easy.
1
If you do not yet have an Unity Asset Store customer account, open the Unity Editor, choose Window > Asset Store, select I need an Account and complete the registration process.
2
Carefully read the Asset Store Provider Agreement for legal information, and the Asset Store Submission Guidelines to learn about the submission process.
3
Download and Install the Asset Store Tools. Once imported, you'll have the framework and scripts necessary to assist you in preparing your content for submission.
4
Create the key images, snapshots and other assets which will go on the store. Be very careful that all the content you provide (key images, screenshots, file formats) match the specifications in the Asset Store Submission Guidelines.
5
Once ready, the Asset Store Submission Tool will begin uploading your submission and store content as a package to our system. Shortly thereafter our Asset Store team will review your submission for inclusion on the shop!
If we select your submission, it will become available on the Asset Store to developers everywhere. Should you choose to sell your content, you'll receive a 70% cut of each sale, which we pay out monthly or quarterly, depending on your selected payout method. You can find more details on that in the Asset Store Provider Agreement. You can also preview the default Customer EULA that covers end-user use of the assets you sell.
We look forward to seeing your creations and wish you the best of luck!
