David Helgason
CEO and co-founder (Icelandic)
An entrepreneur, visionary, and ex-programmer, David's job is to lead the team to stardom, while making sure that each step is taken with love and care.
In the past David founded and participated in startups in fields such as news & community integration, music distribution, and consulting. David serves on the boards of several games and technology startups.
Nicholas Francis
User Experience and co-founder (Danish-English)
Nicholas has extensive production experience from the film industry and has written and directed seven movies, including the largest Danish independent movie production. He has a broad background with 5 years in the Danish film industry and 7 years of 3D-graphics programming experience.
Henrik Nielsen
CFO/COO (Danish)
Henrik brings more than 18 years of business experience working with leading organizations in Europe, Asia and the USA. On top of his financial background, Henrik brings a very strong operational experience within all elements of sales and marketing. He holds a Master of Science degree in Marketing and Strategy from Copenhagen Business School. When he is not working, Henrik enjoys to travel with his family and play a good round of golf.
Tony Garcia
Business Development (American)
Tony Garcia is a seasoned 26 year industry veteran having held senior positions for such companies as Electronic Arts, LucasFilm Games, and Microsoft. In 1991, Tony founded the games division at Microsoft and grew it over a period of six years to establish the company as a major player in the videogame space. In 1998 Tony was the General Manager for Electronic Arts Seattle where he oversaw the development of such leading franchises as Need for Speed, FIFA Soccer, and Motor City Online. Tony has also been responsible for a string of successful startups and won a diverse set of industry awards for many of the products that he has been involved with.
Samantha Kalman
Director of Quality Assurance (American)
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Samantha first became a professional tester in 2001 as part of the XBOX Compliance Team. She specializes in an exploratory testing approach called Session-Based Testing. She first got involved with Unity as a community member and helped develop the majority of Unity's documentation. She has loved games since her youth, and believes that Unity will enable the next generation of great game designers. In her spare time, Samantha plays electronic music and writes screenplays.
Valdemar Bučilko
Wii Hero (Lithuanian)
Valdemar works on Unity's Nintendo Wii runtime. His background is in game development, and the European demoscene.
Tomas Dirvanauskas
Wii Programmer (Lithuanian)
Tomas started programming at the age of 7 when he got his first computer – a good old Sinclair ZX Spectrum, all thanks to his Dad. Later he realized this is what he wanted to do in life and he got his first job in game development after graduating from school; that was one of his best days ever. Now after getting hired at Unity he thinks life couldn't get any better. He's currently exploring the magic of Unity Wii.
Amir Ebrahimi
Developer and Field Engineer (American)
Amir comes from Naughty Dog, Activision, and Flagship Studios, where he wrote tools, graphics code and gameplay scripts on Jak II, Jak 3, Jak X, X-Men, Tony Hawk Project 8, and Hellgate: London. Occasionally Amir writes for Game Developer magazine and teaches at the Art Institute of California, San Francisco.
Alexandra Mariner
Executive Assistant / Girl Friday (American)
Possessing keen problem-solving skills, a knack for teaching herself almost anything, and a dedication to quality, Alex is our "Girl Friday". She comes from a background in graphic design and large scale museum exhibitions, and when not working, she enjoys gaming, gourmet cooking, and watching way too many films.
Charles Hinshaw
Graphic Designer (American)
Charles comes to Unity with a background in cross-disciplinary design, where his work has ranged from running online campaigns for major video game publishers to developing experimental design tools for boutique architecture firms. When not obsessing over layout and type at Unity, Charles edits the independently published Unity Developer Magazine.
Jens Fursund
Student Developer (Danish)
While working his way through his Master years at university specializing in Computer Graphics, Mobile Computing and Games, Jens is devoting all his spare time to internal tools development and computer graphics to make Unity be the best game development tool in the world.
Rune Skovbo Johansen
Creative Programmer (Danish)
Specializing in animation, interaction, and procedural stuff, Rune is passionate about creating solutions that make advanced and cool technology simple to use. He comes to Unity with a creative and cross-disciplinary approach to software development grounded in a Master's degree in Multimedia & Game Programming and an interest since childhood in graphics, animation, and coding.
Oleg Pridiuk
iPhone/Wii Quality Assurance (Lithuanian)
Oleg has bachelor degree in Computer Science and 4 years experience in mobile devices' testing labs of various IT Magazines like CHIP, Hacker etc. His programmers bygone includes coding for Symbian (including dinosaurs like Siemens SX1), passion for old good ANSI C and nostalgic memories of Turbo Pascal, Basic, first Sim City and IDDQD.
Aurimas Gasiulis
iPhone Developer (Lithuanian)
Aurimas started out hacking window managers for X11 and making small OS kernels while still at school. He's addicted to nice computer graphics of any kind, compilers, SIMD and coding anything in plain old C. Now he's exploiting the iPhone and its ARM CPU while working as part of Unity's iPhone development team.
Thomas Grové
Marketing Communications Manager (American)
Thomas comes from a diverse creative background which includes hirez art, documentary film, mod tracking, acting, and design for print and new media. Prior to joining Unity, Thomas was working as a video game designer for various console developers in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been an active member in the local game development community since 2003.

Core Programmer (Lithuanian)
Paulius joined his old friends at Unity after working for some years in game development and finance industry. He loves developing 3d math and high-performance multithreaded software. On a free time he is playing with graphics/design, reading neuro-science books and training his personal neural networks to master BMX tricks.
Matt Reynolds
Software Developer (British)
Matt has worked in the games industry for 8 years working on graphics middleware and in developer relations. He will be working on support and developing software testing tools.

Heidi Therkildsen
HR Manager (Danish)
Heidi has 20 years of experience from international companies. She started her career in Finance and Accounting but has since 1996 worked in HR. She has held national and regional HRM roles primarily in US IT companies and has her own HR consultancy company providing solutions in the area of coaching, team- and organisational development. Heidi loves the outdoor life, lives in the countryside and enjoys horse riding.

Robert's passion for computer graphics and games has driven his entire education. You can most likely find him juggling triangles, lights and rays, while he's striving to make Unity graphics even yummier for all those eye-candy lovers out there. Hoping no one doubts he's the older of The Cupisz Brothers.
Kuba Cupisz
Graphics Programmer (Polish)
Started his masters degree in Poland by going to Denmark. Stayed there. Was taking graphics courses until they run out. Graduated DADIU 3 times. Gets pure pleasure from figuring out stuff. Some people say he has a twisted way of seeing the world, but that's just how the pentaprism in his camera works. Confusing people as to who is the older of The Cupisz Brothers.
Joachim Ante
CTO and co-founder (German)
Joachim was the creator of Unity's core and still leads the development effort. In his spare time, Joe enjoys horseback riding, acrobatics, diving from bridges, and driving big cars.
Tom Higgins
Product Evangelist (American)
Tom's experience with computers started at a young age when his parents purchased an Apple II+ for their home, setting into motion a passion for computers and software development. That passion found an outlet when he was hired by Macromedia. After nearly a decade working on Director and the Shockwave Player, Tom has now joined the Unity team.
When not at work, you'll find him on the road traveling or at the track racing motorcycles. Tom is based in San Francisco.
Aras Pranckevičius
Code Chef (Lithuanian)
Aras cooks rendering and Windows-related things. Ideas, designs and key presses get mixed into delicious software. That's a fancy way of saying "lead graphics programmer", apparently.
Aras has been awarded by Microsoft as a Most Valuable Professional in the area of DirectX and has published articles in the ShaderX book series.
Sten Selander
Business Developer (Swedish)
Sten is the co-founder of several companies within the interactive media space, and is experienced in business development services and handling diligence and strategies on management level. Additionally he's managed large scale EU projects and been responsible for innovations processes between digital industry and research.
Steffen Toksvig
Senior Software Developer (Danish)
Steffen has extensive experience in games and application development as well as in management on different levels. He has worked 6 years for the AAA developer IO Interactive as a Tools Developer, Lead Programmer, CTO and member of the board of directors. During this period, he worked on the Hitman series, Kane & Lynch and Freedom Fighters.
Graham Dunnett
Director for Testing, Support and Documentation (Brit)
Graham runs the team helping customers and making sure that Unity works as expected. He has worked in the games middleware industry for 12 years. He has a PhD in 3d graphics hardware, and taught himself 6502 assembler on an Acorn Atom when he was 12 years old. When not testing Unity or helping customers Graham loves photography and being a new dad.
Lárus Ólafsson
Network Programmer (Icelandic)
Lárus specializes in multiplayer networking, encompassing everything from NAT punchthrough to MMO scalability. He finished his Master's Thesis implementing and describing Unity's multiplayer components.
Rytis Bieliūnas

Just loves programming. Started his career at his mother's workplace (which was the only place where he had access to a computer).
Ethan Vosburgh
Asset Maestro (American)
Ethan has worked on all current Unity demos and is now working on internal projects. He holds a fine arts degree in Digital Media from the San Francisco Art Institute. As an undergraduate he studied generative art as well as 3D modeling/animation at Pixar University. He was also involved in San Francisco's emerging VJ scene in the late 90s.

Keli has extensive experience developing and architecting web applications, user applications and application frameworks. Being a master programmer, Keli develops in almost any computer language, and for multiple platforms. Keli's passion is finding elegant solutions to complex problems.

Renaldas' passion is getting code screaming fast on interesting devices, such as the PSP, the PS3, and now the iPhone. His previous job was coding on Battlefield in Stockholm, and he's now relocated to Copenhagen.

Mantas Puida
Mono Developer (Lithuanian)
Mantas currently tames monkeys (Spanish: Mono) to live in peace with platforms like the iPhone, but he can write code for almost everything that shows signs of intelligence. Usually one can recognize Mantas as the guy carrying the big camera, and on rare occasions even taking pictures with it.
Caitlyn Kloecker
Quality Assurance Engineer (American)
Caitlyn was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended University of California at Santa Cruz to earn a degree in Motion Graphics. She's now living in Copenhagen with her husband Tomas, a German mathematician. Unity is her biggest passion along with making indie games and electronic music. She's done work as a 2D animator, a lead artist, a developer of CD-ROM interfaces for major magazines, a prototype designer for casino slot machines and yes, as a QA engineer.
Jeff Aydelotte
Demo Developer (American)
Jeff is an intern currently working on the demo team. He is a student at The Art Institute of California majoring in Visual and Game Programming. Full Moon Manor, one of his student projects developed using Unity, was a finalist at the ScreenBurn competition at the South by Southwest festival. Jeff has the ability to work on both programming and art, which allows him to work on every aspect of the demo development process.
Emil Johansen
Quality Assurance Engineer (Danish)
With a background in large scale game and game AI development, Emil (aka AngryAnt on the forums) joins the QA team after working on AI middleware solutions for Unity and being an active member of the community.
Lucas Meijer
Senior Software Developer (Dutch)
The last ten years before joining Unity, Lucas was a freelance game programmer, making sure the tech behind many game productions was in good shape, and artists had a smooth workflow into their game engine. He worked on titles for Lego, Paramount, Cartoon Network, Lego, Adobe and many others. When relaxing, he's usually playing Ultimate Frisbee, or thinking about sushi. Or both.
Juan Sebastian Muñoz
Technical Writer (Colombian)
Juan's experience with computers started at a young age when his father took old motherboards, hard drives and monitors home so he could disassemble them and play with them. That made Juan get a great passion for computers and how they work. This combined, with his love for video games and the low level programming, made him focus on Computer Graphics during his college years. Juan Studied his bachelor degree on Computer Science at EAFIT University in Medellin, Colombia, and when he is not programming games, he is playing them. He also loves to go out and drink beers with friends and travel around the world.
Jonas Echterhoff
Programmer (German)
Jonas has taught himself programming on a Mac II when he was 11 years old, and has created several successful Mac shareware games in the past, financing his life as a CS university student. He has been working on various parts of the Unity engine ever since the original release of version 1.0, and is now working full time as a core engine developer.
Christoffer Hall-Frederiksen

Has a ph.d. in Computer Science and has spent his time working on database internals and systems. He works on some comming online features in the world of unity. He is a maritime nutcase and prefers to spend his spare time in, on and around the sea either diving, sailing, kitesurfing or rowing a kayak.
Joe Robins
Technical Support Specialist (English)
Joe jumped across the sea to join Unity in Denmark, His education focused on 3d art and Game Design at the University of Teesside. Some time after that, Joe landed a job using Unity where he became an active member of the community and worked on various projects, from jet ski games with purple water to a building familiarisation tool for Greater Manchester Police HQ. He has come to Unity with his broad knowledge of the toolset in order to provide tech support for the ever expanding user-base.
