Unity Top DOG Competition
2007 was the first time that Unity held an official competition. The theme of this competition was to find the Top Developer of Online Games. The major requirement was that all of the entries run in our web player, but FlashBang ended up walking away with the $2000 cash prize by setting themselves apart with their sophisiticated integration of additional features such as player leader boards. All finalists received one free admission to the Unite 2007 conference and had a chance to meet with web portal and publisher representatives. Additionally, all Top DOG finalists were entered into the "Best Web Game" category of the Independant Game Festival (IGF) free of charge.
