Get started with Magic Leap

Before embarking on your quest, let's get you set up.

  1. To take the leap, download the SDK or get the Magic Leap one.
  2. If you haven’t already, we recommend downloading the latest release of Unity to use the Magic Leap Technical Preview. This can be installed alongside other builds.
  3. Download the Lumin SDK from the Magic Leap Creator Portal.

  • Scripting: Fixed scripting runtime version not changing when modifing it on ProjectSettings.asset from any external tool like version control / overwriting the file / etc. (1010811)

  • Universal Windows Platform: Fixed an assert that is triggered when Xbox gamepads are disconnected in some situations. (1080114)

  • MLSpatialMapper: Remove tooltip referencing non existent 'block' mesh type
  • MLSpatialMapper: Changing the LOD now causes all meshes within the current bounds to regenerate.
  • A warning concerning duplicate GUIDs in the Editor has been fixed.
  • [il2cpp] Fix a bug so IL2CPP will always emit null checks in generated code.
  • [il2cpp] Fix a bug that was causing il2cpp to deadlock on shutdown whenever any ML API was used from managed code.
  • Update LWRP package in lw vr template to 1.1.11-preview
  • (Experimental) Add support for selecting ML privileges from Player Settings; these privileges are then automatically added to the ML package manifest.
